On the sixth day we decided to rest.  We traveled south to Brig by train.  Brig is deep in the Rhone valley.  At 635m it's over 500m lower than Kandersteg and consequently, approximately 5 degrees warmer.

MARK GETS PICKED OFF

We visited a swimming pool in Brigabad which uses hot natural springs to heat the water.  One pool is a large ring shape with a powerful current that drags swimmers round.  A large rock juts out over the edge, the challenge is to hold on or pluck other swimmers off!
