So we thought we would take the Scouts up into the Gemmi pass and visit
the Shwarenbach Hotel. To make the hike an easy one we would get the cable car up and
walk down. The afternoon would be spent on the golf course.
For some reason
which was never made particularly clear, the cable car
effected an emergency stop causing it to swing up and pendulum
for a minute or so. Everyone was ok until Matt
yelled "We are all going to die!" But the
cable car was soon on its way and we strolled from the
station up to the hotel for ice creams and drinks.
