 DOCUMENTS AND FORMS

The following documents are provided for information and for use.

MEDICAL AND CONSENT FORM

Any young person attending an over night event needs to complete a medical and consent form. This lets the leaders know about any medication the young person is taking so that we can look after them and also provides emergency contact details of parents/guardians. Without a filled in copy of this form the young person cannot attend a night away.

Printed copies of this form are given out by the leaders before the event but we have added a copy here as we know they sometimes get mislaid.

Click the link below to view the form or right click and select save as to view it later.

3GP Behaviour Policy

All youth members of 3rd Gidea Park Scout Group agree to abide by a age apropriate code of conduct. These rules are explained to each member in an when they join each section. Treating each other with the utmost respect is
one of the fundamental values of Scouting and the safety and happiness of all our members is of paramount importance.

Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated from our youth members and will always be challenged. Leaders have an important role in building up working relationships with the young people in their care and it is not expected that a parent will need to be spoken to every time a child
is reprimanded. However, where appropriate, a young person's behaviour will be reported to parents or guardians and we value the support that parents/guardians give us in relation to dealing with these incidences and setting appropriate standards.

The Group has a behaviour policy that allows for the suspension or permanent exclusion of youth members in certain circumstances.

The behaviour policy applies to all youth members of the Group and can be downloaded here.
